SSc4.1: Alternative Transportation: Public Transportation Access
Intent: Reduce automobile use to help reduce pollution.
Requirements: Locate the project within 1/2 mile of some sort of light rail system or 1/4 mile away from one or more bus stops that are for 2 or more bus lines.
Approach: Give preference to sites that are well connected when selecting the site. Build the community with pedestrian access to public transportation.
