SSc2: Development Density & Community Connectivity
The Intent of this credit is to develop in areas that have existing infrastructure, and preserve natural habitat.
There are two options to meet the Requirements:
Option 1: Develop on a previously developed site, and in a community with a density of 60k sq.ft per acre net.
Option 2: Build on a previously developed site and within 1/2 mile of a residential zone with 10 units per acre and 1/2 mile from 10 basic services. These services can be a bank, place of worship, grocery, day care, cleaners, fire station, beauty, hardware, laundry, library, medical/dental, senior care, park, pharmacy, post office, restaurant, school, supermarket, theater, community center, fitness center, or museum.
Approach: Again, the basic premis of this credit is to select a site that meets the requirements.
